Welcome from Co-op Academy Bebington
As we reach the end of our first half term, I am delighted to share some positive reflections on the progress we have made together at Co-op Academy Bebington. It has been a genuine pleasure to be welcomed into lessons across the school and to see many students working very hard, demonstrating their commitment to success and well-being - truly doing what matters most.
We have seen a significant reduction in suspensions, thanks to the high expectations around behaviour consistently upheld by staff and students. This progress reflects our culture of respect and kindness, and it is a pleasure to work in a community where everyone is encouraged to be yourself, always and where positive relationships flourish.
Attendance has improved this term, though we recognise there is still work to be done, particularly at the beginning and end of the week. We remain committed to supporting all students to attend regularly because we know that as we succeed together means every student being present and able to achieve their potential.
A particular highlight was our Celebration Evening last night, where we proudly welcomed all our prize winners. These students were excellent role models, embodying our values by showing care and concern for others, showing they care in their actions and attitudes. Thank you to all the leavers who came back for the evening and good luck to them all in their new ventures.
Thank you to everyone—students, staff, and families—for your continued dedication and making me feel part of this community . Together, we will keep striving to create a supportive and successful school environment where everyone can thrive.
Here’s to a successful and inspiring next half term!
