A Warm Welcome
From our Headteacher
Catherine Kelly, Headteacher
Welcome to Co-op Academy Bebington, a school I am proud to lead. I took up post as Head Teacher in September 2016 and since that time we have seen considerable improvements to the school environment, the quality of teaching and learning and our students’ exemplary behaviour.
On Thursday our Year 7 & 8 Netball teams attended an enrichment Netball tournament hosted by St John Plessington. Both teams played brilliantly and represented the PE department with pride. Huge well done to Team Storm who came 2nd overall!

Pupils, and students in the sixth form, thrive. They know that leaders and teachers have high expectations of them and they rise to meet them. Academically, all pupils, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), benefit from an ambitious and carefully designed curriculum.
In this welcoming community, pupils are kind and tolerant towards each other. They are clear that the school is a place where everyone is free to be themselves.
Discriminatory behaviour or bullying is never tolerated. Pupils know that they can talk to staff and that they will be listened to. They feel safe and happy.
