Welcome to Co-op Academy Bebington Sixth Form
Stepping into Sixth Form is a big moment. After twenty years in the classroom, I can honestly say it’s one of the most exciting stages of a young person’s journey. It’s a time when you start shaping the kind of adult you want to become and the future you want to build.
At Co-op Academy Bebington, we’re here to walk that journey with you. We’ll give you the qualifications, confidence and real-life skills you need to take your next step in the world - whether that’s university, an apprenticeship or heading straight into work.
We offer three clear pathways so everyone can find the route that suits them best:

Life Skills Pathway
Designed for young people with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). This pathway focuses on independence, self-care and practical life skills. Students learn in small, supportive groups and gain hands-on experience on our school farm and in our motor workshop. We place a strong emphasis on employability and support progression into further education or internships.

Technical Pathway (Level 2)
This one-year programme is perfect for students who want to develop practical skills in Motor Vehicle or Animal Management. Alongside your main course, you’ll take part in enrichment and complete any GCSE resits you may need. When you finish, you’ll be ready for a Level 3 apprenticeship or further study.

Academic Pathway (Level 3)
Our A Level and BTEC pathway lets you choose three subjects to study over two years. You’ll take part in enrichment activities and prepare for university or higher-level apprenticeships. Most courses require five grade 4s (including English and Maths), but each subject has its own entry requirements. You’ll find those in the subject pages.
Whatever pathway you choose, you won’t be doing it alone. From the day you apply to the day you leave, you’ll have personalised support, great advice and a team of staff who genuinely care about helping you achieve your goals. Our enrichment programme, including Duke of Edinburgh, volunteering, work experience, placements, trips and more, helps you grow into a confident, capable and community-minded young adult.
We’d love to welcome you to our Sixth Form and support you as you take your next step.
