I'm Dionne Loughlin, I am the Academy community pioneer for Co-op Academy Bebington.

My name is Dionne, I have been the Academy Community Pioneer at Co-op Academy Bebington for 2 months. I have also worked at the school for 3 years as an Admin Assistant.

Working in the school office I found myself getting involved in community events and helping if I could, it was a natural transition into this role. There are so many opportunities to help and support our students and I was more than happy to help bring these to life with the community team and to support the work already going on in the academy. 

I am excited to work closely with our F1 Resource Provision Base who do a lot of excellent local work. They host cake sales for charity and BSL performances at Christ Church who they have formed excellent relationships with. They also produced artwork for the go greener project with Love Bebington. I am looking forward to seeing how I can support the already brilliant work they do in our community.

Take the opportunity to be part of a team and make a difference to the school and create relationships with people in the community. This role opens your eyes to how many amazing businesses and people there are in the community that want to support our students. 

If I could describe my time here in three words, they would be: Worthwhile, fulfilling, positive.
