Initial Teacher Training
Train to Teach with our Initial Teacher Training Programme

At Co-op Academies Trust, we believe in changing lives through education. We train future teachers to work with pupils, colleagues and communities – helping everyone succeed.
You’ll benefit from expert support, real classroom experience from day one, and a curriculum designed to help you grow confidently into a brilliant teacher.
Why Train at Co-op Academy Bebington?
Training at Co-op Academy Bebington gives you the chance to develop within an established, fully inclusive 11–18 secondary school serving a wide range of communities across the eastern Wirral. Our culture combines high expectations with genuine care, helping young people achieve academically while developing into confident, compassionate and responsible individuals.
Trainees benefit from a strong network of professional support. Staff work closely with colleagues across Co-op Academies Trust, local schools, community organisations and the Professional Development Institute, giving you access to evidence-informed practice, high-quality mentoring and a broad range of expertise. Our Enhanced Provision resource base also offers valuable insight into how pupils with complex needs can be supported successfully within a mainstream setting.
Professional growth is a priority at Bebington. You’ll take part in a robust programme of development focused on research-based teaching and learning, while gaining a full understanding of school life beyond the classroom. With strong community links, enriching opportunities for pupils and a supportive staff team, Bebington is an excellent place to build the knowledge, confidence and experience needed for a successful teaching career.
