Students at Co-op Academy Bebington have again gained good results at KS5, with a strong pass rate and some outstanding individual performances from our students. Attainment overall has improved from last academic year, with significant increases in our A Level and vocational (BTEC) results. This follows our previous OFSTED review in which both the school and the Sixth Form were rated as ‘good’, demonstrating the hard work our students and staff have committed.  Students have again performed exceptionally well and will now be successfully moving onto a number of high quality destinations including university, apprenticeships and skilled careers.

Examples of students who have excelled in Sixth Form include Senior Head’s Executive representative (formally Head Girl) Aimee who gained  Distinction* in both Health and Social Care and Psychology, as well as a B grade in A Level Biology. As a result, she will now be fulfilling her lifelong ambition to  study Midwifery at the University of Chester and become a midwife. Lee gained a Distinction in Business, and B grades in A Level Film and Media Studies. He is preparing to go to Bangor University to study Media and Creative Writing. Other successes are Harry who will be studying Business with Finance and Economics at Liverpool John Moores University, Adam who will be studying Sports Nutrition at LJMU, and Jack, who will be studying Animal Behaviour.

Mrs Kelly (Headteacher) and Mr Johns (Director of Sixth Form) would like to thank the students for all of their hard work this year. We would also like to thank our staff who have consistently gone above and beyond in the teaching of our students, providing many hours of additional tuition to ensure students were academically successful.

We're so proud of Harry! Not only has he achieved 2 distinctions in his A Levels, but he's also off to Australia to play cricket for Newcomb & District Cricket Club. Wishing you all the best on this exciting new adventure!
