Published 02/05/23Huge congratulations to Declan from year 8, who is now the Merseyside and Cheshire 2023 Regional School Boy Boxing Champion!
Declan fought his way through to the Merseyside and Cheshire boxing championship finals last week. He won his fight unanimously, securing his place in the final on Sunday which he also went on to win!
Declan has only been boxing for a year, so to be fighting at this stage already has taken a lot of dedication and hard work.
As Declan has won the regionals, he is now through to the Nationals to try and win the title! He fights in the quarter finals this Sunday, and if successful he and his proud family will be travelling to Surrey the following weekend where the semi and the final will be held.
