COCR Cambridge Technicals Level 3 Business
Entry Requirements: 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English.
Is this course for me?
On this course you will learn how businesses are set up, change and grow to be successful. From a small start-up business to a large multinational organisation, you can see different types of businesses and understand how the choices made can affect the success of the business. You will look at how businesses work and gain an understanding of the legal, financial and ethical factors impacting how a business runs and can be successful. You can explore how economic, social and technology factors affect businesses. The course is designed in collaboration with industry experts and focuses on the requirements today’s employers demand. You will develop the transferable skills required in employment and further education such as communication, problem solving, time management, research and analytical skills.
Where does it lead?
Many of our students have gone on to study Business, Marketing and Accounting at university and others have been highly successful on apprenticeship schemes in a range of Business related industries. The focus on independent working and commercial awareness are invaluable across a wide range of areas.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed at points throughout the two years by a combination of examinations and coursework projects and will have the opportunity to sit each examination a maximum of twice in order to achieve the maximum possible grade.
